NSBE National and SHPE National host an annual convention and conference, respectively, to connect their black and latino collegiate and professional members with dozens of companies looking to hire for intern and full-time positions. During these 4-5 day events, members also gain access to special programming like workshops, networking sessions, and interview prep before their career fairs. These events usually also have a sponsored hackathon members can participate in!
Check out more information about each conference below for 2017/2018:
The SHPE Conference is the major event for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and the largest technical and career conference for Hispanics in the country.
Each year, the SHPE Conference attracts over 6,000 engineering professionals, students and corporate representatives.
